Grounds Maintenance Manager

We are in need of a Grounds Maintenance Manager that can help create a place of peace, beauty and blessing to our visitors, students and staff. 

Duties & Responsibilties 

• Maintain lawns and borders in order 
• Weed and clean flower beds throughout spring to fall 
• Plant and develop flowerbeds 
• maintaining high levels of presentation in garden beds & farm area
• Snow removal in winter 
• Repairing/ maintaining of Fences, roads, trails & cattleguards 
• Cutting down fallen or dangerous trees 
• Loading boilers during winter and shoulder seasons 
• Chopping and stacking wood 
• If mechanical experience, maintain machinery & tools in good order, such as performing oil changes, draining carbs, basic repairs

Skills & Qualities Required

• Be able to drive and operate machinery such as a tractor, lawnmower, or excavator or learn quickly and drive well
• Be able to fix minor issues with the tractor
• Be familiar with machinery and tools and their maintenance 
• Operate generators 
• Have a team and service mentality 
• Be orderly in their manner of work 
• Desire to serve others in small or great tasks 
• Desired: be familiar with engine-run equipment and have mechanical experience 
• Vehicle & driver's license mandatory
• Be able to drive trucks & backup trailers
