OnSite Bible Worker

Do you have experience giving Bible studies? Are you able to teach?  

Amazing Discoveries is looking for an experienced Bible worker to head our Virtual Evangelism project, and to assist with local evangelism. 

Duties & Responsibilities 

• Doorknock & attend public events to invite people for Bible studies 
• Write and arrange advertisements for Bible studies 
• Ability to write articles on a variety of spiritual topics
• Edit articles, study guides & lessons for spiritual content 
• Write Bible study guides 
• Teach other Bible workers and prepare them for service 
• Teach classes to the public on a variety of Biblical topics 
• Monitor, assess, and manage our Virtual Evangelism School including but not limited to: monitoring, assessing & managing Bible workers and their performance, preparing & organizing content, updating the website with new classes & content, monitoring needs and suggesting new content. 
• Respond to Bible-related customer questions on help desk & via email and ensure they are handled professionally and accurately

Skills & Qualities Required 

• Training as a Bible worker
• Experience giving Bible studies and teaching classes 
• An avid studier of the Bible 
• Advanced writing, editing, verbal communication skills
• Good social skills / comfortable with new people 
• Good presentation skills 
• Good teaching skills 
• Strong computing skills / Technical ability to navigate web interfaces 
• Ability to handle multiple Bible studies/students simultaneously
• Ability to help others teach
• Keen discernment 
• Personal: has a close relationship with Jesus Christ, sets a good example for others, and has a strong understanding of Seventh-day Adventist beliefs, follows the Spirit of Prophecy
• Has a learner mindset
• Ability to work in an organized manner
• Willing to work additional hours if necessary to get the job done
• Self-starter - able to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines
• A heart for evangelism and for people 
• Self-motivated 
• A person of prayer
• Vehicle & driver's license mandatory.
