Content Writer/Researcher

We are looking for an individual with strong writing, research & communication skills to be a Writer/Researcher for our Ministry. 

Duties & Responsibilties 

• Write articles, TV scripts, short booklets quickly and with professional tone 
• Research sources for articles, programs, and presentations 

Skills & Qualities Required 

• Strong communication skills  - verbal and especially written with a good vocabulary. 
• Be able to write with a professional tone, in consideration of target audience - both Christian and secular as needed 
• Be able to describe, understand and match Amazing Discoveries' tone of writing 
• Attention to accuracy of sources
• Good discernment and reading skills 
• Professional attitude; willingness to rewrite as many times as needed to suit Amazing Discoveries' needs 
• A heart for evangelism 
• Ability to work in an organized manner
• Quick turnaround time on projects
• Availability during 9-5 work hours 
• Excellent computer skills; familiarity with Word, track changes, and Google Docs. 

Personal: has a close relationship with Jesus Christ, sets a good example for others, and has a superior and in-depth understanding of Seventh-day Adventist beliefs and the content of Amazing Discoveries material, follows the Spirit of Prophecy

Skills Desired 
Experience with marketing copy
Interest in writing fundraising letters, thank you letters, and marketing copy for ads and social media posts
